The Grom as it stands now is pretty competent - it’ll hold its own anywhere below 55mph or so (rider weight being a very limiting factor) but that’s about where it stops. 125cc does just fine for around-town use. They absolutely FLEW off the showroom floors when they first hit the US market. Demand has slowed down…
I’m pleased that “Play Music” is on there. I have a Bluetooth headset in my motorcycle helmet and enjoy listening to some background music on the way home from work. ...but my office is in a cell-phone dead zone, so I can’t start up the tunes in the parking lot when I’m standing there settling my gloves/jacket/luggage…
I’m not trying to rail on you, Sean - don’t get me wrong. I’m just an old fart engineer who reads and writes “detail” for a living. Inconsistencies and missing key pieces of info bother me like none other.
We still don’t know how much any of these toys actually cost, though, which still seems to be kind of a key piece of info. That was more my point. You give an estimate that two of the little ones plus a trailer is somewhere around $12K, but how much do the headliner PWCs actually set you back?

Good grief. Let’s fact-check this article.
No, I’m pretty sure that’s a sign of a bad motivator. I’d ask for my money back.
Oooooor it’s a trend that must die a quick death.
Yeah. If it’s a decent aftermarket, the upper doodad is a remote pre-load adjuster (handy knob so you don’t have to go fiddling with an inconveniently-placed spanner adjustment) and the lower is a fluid reservoir.
I hated these so much. I travelled a lot for work when these were commonplace in the rental fleets and I explicitly had a note added to my profile with Avis saying “Absolutely NO HHRs”. I absolutely could NOT see out of them at all.
But the wrong combination of chair and flooring surface can turn that whole thing into one big static shock. Those plastic tables have their place, but I wouldn’t make “regular work surface” one of them.*

Hey, Aaron,
I am a motorcyclist. I’m going to leave off aesthetic choices (swingarms, glow lights, etc.) and focus on ones that are either physically endangering yourself and others OR are making the rest of us look bad.
Front sway bar and bushings on a 2004 Saturn Ion.
Not gonna lie: chop off the bustle in the back, clean up the front a bit and I really like the style.
On cost: A good piece of advice on this is “know your body”.
