I’ve been to the US recently and saw a huge billboard for this product... “Suja” means “dirty” in portuguese. And not in a “sexy” way. It’s dirty like something that came from the sewer.

Yeah, I actually heavily dislike mecha and this one still worked for me. Thoroughly impressed with the story and the way the show just DGAF'ed killing off characters you felt like you could start investing in. To me it's the GoT of animes on Netflix.

Probably because we have this idea that if it hasn't gone through the usual channels it's because it wasn't good enough to. But in this case the line between Indie and big market is surprisingly thin.

They aren't so dead in Asia. I don't know how it is in Korea where this was filmed but in Japan they're just as busy as the arcade I went to in the 90s was.
