@CristinaS: I actually see diverse groups in advertising if the products are a service (e.g. banking)...at least around here.

"he film business remains the last bastion of close-minded and uncreative behavior in terms of the way we see human beings…"

Tainted baby formula in China is NOT news. The Hong Kong media have been talking about this for a very long time. Did this only surface here now?

Hugh Grant = Dirty Old Man

She could get those binders or notebooks with pockets. Tampons and pads can go in there.

@truckasaurus: But what if the mother is very active in her community service groups? Some, especially suburban-based ones meet during the day. Who takes care of small children then? You can bring the baby to a meeting, but a 2 year old? I don't think so.

Do non-white people in the US NOT employ nannies? Or do I just live in some sort of isolated upper middle class neighbourhood where plenty of people employ nannies, regardless of ethnicity? If you asked a bunch of Chinese kids I went to school with, I'd probably say that many would have been raised by a nanny. But

@MegSpencer: What does the V stand for in VILF?

@LitiGrrl30: Doesn't there have to be a larger age difference for a woman to be considered a cougar? I know someone who describes herself as a puma because she's like 29 and dating a 26 year old. If her BF was say, 22, then yes, she'd be a cougar.

Silver/Jessica is the only 90210 girl that is scary-scary thin. It's really hard for people like Annie/Shannae to be "normal slim." When you're short, five pounds is A LOT of weight to gain. Besides, she's like 20, right? That's often when people shed off the last of their baby fat. I think I was the thinnest at

I would love to see a television show where the non-white character(s) are a middle class (or college kid, single gal about town, etc) who just happens to be non-white. Even better, an Asian woman who is all Charlotte York-like. It seems that any non-black nonwhite character has to be some sort of depressed second

90210 should have Asian kids...especially at a school like West Bev. Unless, of course, the parents are like some of my relatives and packed the kids off to a BRAND NAME PREP SCHOOL in the east coast.

Wow! Best wishes in a happy engagement, Tracie! :)

So what's the story with Story, Minnie?

@overnightly: Yeah, but Don looks like the kind of guy one CANNOT get. It's much easier to get someone like Ken. :)

I also want to see that Audrey Tautou Chanel movie. It won't be released until next year, though.

@blushingflower: But Asians are stereotyped to be on the short side. So unless TLE, Tamiece or Allisonizu become big, household names (names big enough for NY Fashion Week), you're probably not going to see that many Asians. Of course, there are plenty of tall Asian girls, especially in northern China and Korea.

Why do some brides have so many bridesmaids? When my mom got married in the 70s, she had ONE MAID OF HONOUR. My dad had ONE BEST MAN. Thirty years later, my cousins all have three or four bridesmaids/groomsmen.

Since Nastia is petite, will her denim line come in shorter lengths as well?
