@flozell78: Some Canadian high schools don't hold their graduation ceremonies (commencement...I know that some high schools call their prom, "grad." This is something I didn't realize until university.) until the fall as well. Weird IMHO...I guess they want to wait until some kids finish summer school...my school did…

I went to a stuffy all girls' school. Until the late 60s, the only dance the school held was the Sixth Form Formal (I think that's what it was called...this school is in Canada, yet we used "forms" instead of grades until the 70s)...it was held in the gym and I don't think the kids given dinner...fast forward to…

@Rebecca: I still stand by the fact that I have issues with people marrying others who are way older. The only good thing IMHO that comes out of this is that you actually GET to use your social stationary, something my boyfriend doesn't even know exists.
