Don't parents who adopt from abroad (especially Latin America and Asia) get some sort of preparation program to learn about the culture? Why is adopting a black kid "different" from adopting other non-white kids?

I took Porter Airlines to Montreal in October and the flight attendants were cool. Usually girls who've just finished school. I think Porter's image is supposed to be a little retro compared to, say, Air Canada. Most of the attendants there seem to be career flight attendants. Lots of cranky middle aged women.

@CorporateTool: The modeling industry has weird defs of what's "plus" and what's "petite." Paige Adams-Geller (Paige Premium Denim) is something like 5'7" or 5'8" and when she modeled she was considered "petite" even though no petite clothes would fit her properly.
