Oops....link is here:

I should also add that there was a Frank magazine in Canada...not the same as the one mentioned here.

Is she really that dumb or is she pretending on The View?

Why are people even bothering with print mags. Waste of paper, folks. Blogzines are the thing to be. I even launched one myself.

SJP looks gross in that ad.

Question to those who say that samples for non-tall and thin models are considered low-brow:

You guys make it sound like ALL designers make clothes for "hangers." Most do, especially those who are big, but many up-and-coming designers actually design or specialize in different sizes. It's just too bad that the mainstream media want nothing to do with them.

Wouldn't it depend on the designer and what he/she wants? If a designer wants size 12 girls, then he/she should use size 12 girls. He/she shouldn't be shut out of "high fashion" either. A larger model can still be more "exclusive" looking just by having a prettier face (thanks to make up or Photoshop) or whatever.

I think I'm the only person in the world who didn't read Jacob I Have Loved. I spent most of my elementary school years either reading trash like The Baby-Sitters Club and Sweet Valley or non-fiction (okay, I have to admit that I also read every single Little House book. I liked them more than Anne of Green Gables

A girl with the original winner's stats will never make it today. Not Miss America. Too short, too flat, and too "fat" (face it, she ain't super-skinny.....5'1" and 108 lb is normal for that height. She'd be a size 2 by 2008 standards.) Maybe some sort of Miss Petite contest (yes, they exist.)
