Why does minority = black? Seriously. Every article I've read about the lack of diversity in fashion mentions black women only. What about other minority women?

What happened to my earlier post, asking for stats comparing the number of developmentally delayed kids today to those in the past 50 or so years? For that matter, what happened to Georgia's post (I think that's her name)? Older water pipes DO contain lead, btw.

For years, we have drunk water coming in from lead pipes, put babies in cribs painted with lead-traced paints, biked without helmets, etc, and many of us turned out fine. Why the sudden obsession? I don't think this is nearly as bad as say, smoking or inhaling second hand smoke.

34" huh. Models in the 80s and 90s were all around 5'9"/5'10" and 34-24-34...still very, very thin, IMHO, but "bigger" than most girls on the runways today.
