You sure this is the Republic of Armenia? Because as an Armenian myself, I'm pretty sure this is the Republic of Glendale. I know I've seen those buses before hahaha.

Pretty sure Armenia doesn't have palm trees or orange LA Metro buses.
Guys, went there last January. Just a big thank you, your museum is one of the best I've been to. Amazing job.
I love your museum, keep it up!
It just tickles me to no end that you show up here and comment. Many thanks!
That car stopped me dead in my tracks when it was on display.
99% of the materials most museums own are never put on display. They are repositories of cultural heritage, not showrooms.
I think it'll go on display, but in a few decades. Even now the name Saddam Hussein's pretty polarizing; to some the name is someone evil we rightfully took down, to others it's the name of someone we used as a target in an unneccessary war. I think they'll wait till there's not as much controversy over who owned it…
The museum saved it from being under a tarp in Jordan. It's not being restored because the state the car is in now is part of its history and it's been deemed important to preserve that. Having seen it up close, I don't think I'd want anyone turning it into a Pebble Beach-worthy 600.
