Exactly my thoughts. There is a different target audience for each game. You wouldn’t expect to see things that you would find in the original 3 GoW games in a Minecraft clone, Roblox, or really even in a Call of Duty or Battlefield game.

As if “regular news” isn’t already produced with specific verbage, footage, and bias in every other media outlet today and “news stories” are selected and reported on based on the producer’s opinion of how newsworthy it is....
That’s what I intend to do. And without this article I never would have had a greater appreciation for my local affiliate.
“Here, the CG is used to show the theory of how humans evolved.”
I know the feeling. But they have been pimping out their microtransaction store in the AC games since at least Unity. Hopefully Origins hasn’t changed that. From the comments I have read below it doesn’t sound like it is that much different.
Yes exactly! I curse so much at our maintenance man who zip ties cords in offices after they change out desks or rearrange the room. When having to change out a mouse, keyboard, or any other wired device it is always hell trying to cut them loose since he cinches them up way too tight. Most of the time I wind up just…
Don’t you mean A, B, RT, and up? ;-)
But that isn’t really the issue here. It isn’t that the new content isn’t available to everyone that people are complaining about. It is that content which was available to a user on Monday with the vanilla version of the game is now no longer available to them if they haven’t purchased the DLC. So Bungie has…
And before 2025 nothing could be done to extend this law? Seriously? I seem to recall a lot of talk about the Bush tax cuts being able to be extended by legislation. So really, is there anything that is truly bad about having limits on these tax cuts?
Yes... it is bad to be rich so let’s take 90% of their money. That’s essentially what you’re saying. And that is a load of unfair bull. Everyone should be entitled to the money that they make and it shouldn’t be TAKEN and given to others just because it will make someone else feel or live better. If they want to give…
So... they go from a live stream which will no doubt be mostly scripted but something might be said which is off the cuff and could provide some insight into the development and thought processes of the developers to a written, 100% scripted and impersonal blog post that has been ran through 100 different people from…
Everything that you said makes a lot of sense with me. It sounds like we are basically on the same page but just have different viewpoints about when we would like to experience the content and how much faith that we have that Bungie can deliver a worthwhile product.
How do we know that? It didn’t happen in D1. In fact, using bungies track record, you could say that we know you aren’t forced to buy the DLC to keep playing.
You do realize that D1 also had 2 DLCs by the end of spring in it’s first year of release right? That would be the Dark Below and House of Wolves, both with new and separate end game areas. Not to mention they were developing that game for one more platform than they are for D2. So I am not seeing where there will be…
Exactly! Not to mention they delayed the game a whole year and this was what we got out of it? Look at what happened with Assassin’s Creed when it took a whole year to improve the game compared to what we got with Destiny 2....
Didn’t get my money’s worth is relative. I expect to have the same enjoyment from D2 that I did with D1. If I don’t and therefore I don’t spend as much time with it, hell no I didn’t get my money’s worth.
OMG I would kill to see Megamania there!
It is my understanding that yes as of now it just makes games look prettier. There are no games which have any kind of improvements which aren’t available on the older Xbox consoles.
That may be what they are working on, but I don’t expect to see them anytime soon given Bungie’s track record. I am thinking we will see all of this come to fruition and the game will feel a lot more fleshed out and there be a reason to play more than just an hour or two per week (if that much) by 2019 like they did…
Exactly. I have used 2 at one time so far. 1 for my external drive and 1 for my X12 headset which I still use from my 360.
