Final Fight came out before SFII (with Chun-Li).

I have never liked the idea of this character being a transsexual. I'd have no problem if she always was, but she was changed because "Oh, it's okay to hit women if they're 'really men'." Terrible.

Haha yeah, I noticed that.

Because people want more good Wii games and Wii RPGs. These games are both.

If you only rent stuff from Gamefly yeah, but when you buy used from Gamefly they send you the case with everything in it.

Then what was the point of bringing it up? Consumers can't double dip (technically they can as long as they don't use the serial code or whatever) and corporations can't. There's no problem there.

We were discussing this: "If it's not okay for corporations to double dip, it shouldn't be okay for consumers too as well. "

That's not even close to what we were debating. We were talking about being entitled to "double dipping". Where does being entitled to online multiplayer come into that? I'm not going to let you pretend you won a debate by bringing up something that we weren't even discussing.

And I don't think you know what the word hypocrite means.

No, I'm entitled to what THE LAW says I'm entitled to. Corporations aren't above the law. Jesus, have you ever taken an economics class?

Nope, you just don't realize that there's a difference between what producers of a product and what consumers are entitled to.

Except, consumers have been getting things used.. forever. And it's their right to. [en.wikipedia.org]

It's not okay for corporations to double dip. When you sell something, the person you bought it from isn't entitled to any more money from it. Used markets exist for like, everything, yet game developers seem to be the only ones complaining about it.

But they made money off of it when it was sold new, didn't they? So now when someone else buys that same copy used, they get to make an extra $10 off of it.

They're trying to make money off of a game that was sold already. So, yes it is.

Oh hey, the background music is Kibun Jojo. Now I want to play Ouendan 2 again.

They flew these people out there to do this. I doubt most people could just drop everything for more than a few days to test for glitches in a game.

Pretty sure this wasn't the only bug testing they did. This is only the bug testing they did with outside people who are known to find glitches/exploits.

But why should game developers profit from used sales? Authors don't profit if I sell my book to a friend. Movie studios don't profit if I let someone borrow a movie. Why should game developers get special treatment and be allowed to profit from used games?
