I just posted the same thing. I’m changing my deductions from 1 to 20 so my net paycheck will be much higher through the remainder of the year and then I just won’t file. Even with an extension filed, you are required to pay the estimated tax owed by April 15.

I pay a shit ton in federal taxes so about to make adjustments to my bi-weekly paycheck deductions by increasing my dependents from 1 to 20. My plan would be to bank the extra money (or buy gold/silver) and NOT file a tax return next year. By that time, maybe California will have already elected to withhold as well.
