I was just in Buenos Aires and took the ferry for a few days’ stay in Uruguay. The people, food and wine were wonderful everywhere. I’m totally down for a move!

I would definitely add Uruguay to that list! I was just there and it is beautiful with amazing beaches, very inexpensive, has really great food and wine (you can ferry over to Buenos Aires!), and the people are wonderful!

In many of the Mexican stores in LA, they have fresh par-cooked hominy for use in making Pozole. It’s WAY better than using canned hominy, if you’re interested in making it from scratch. The ethnic markets, in general, carry amazing ingredients you wouldn’t otherwise see in regular markets.

Though I can’t weigh in on Emma’s performance because I haven’t seen La La Land, I agree that Amy did a fantastic job in Arrival. She really does disappear.
