Norman Lear is still alive and amazingly sharp. I heard an interview with him on NPR and was amazed that a 94-year-old could be so sharp and remember so many details from such a long, full and fascinating life. He’s on top of current events too . . .

My best friend can’t believe I didn’t like Bridesmaids at all. Kristin Wiig’s main character was completely selfish (a too unlikable character flaw for me) and I don’t care for toilet humor. I loved Ghostbusters though!
I remember reading, many years ago, that Zinfandel goes best with spicy foods. The reason given, I think, was that it is a late(r) harvest wine and, therefore, sweeter than the other reds. I love spicy Thai food (and red wine!) and tried pairing the two, which worked out well. You don’t mention Zinfandel though so…

Being of service to your community is life-changing, eye-opening, rewarding and educational.
