Where did I say this was a good thing? I merely stated what I believe the ultimate outcome will be regarding liability/culpability in an accident involving a driverless vehicle.

Volvo has already said they expect the liability to shift from the car owners to the car manufacturers. But, there is also the assumption that liability will more often than not hinge on whether it can be proven that a human driver would have made a better choice.

Automation is going to drive more and more people out of work. But that doesn’t mean the people who do have jobs shouldn’t get paid a living wage. The two issues are separate.
