Yeah. I don’t have a problem with discussing if Savage has done enough to make up for his past offenses. We’re supposed to want people like Savage to listen and learn from their offenses but some people just seem interested in keeping an enemies list.
It’s the stupidly infuriating thing about assholes like Johnson. Because it’s not like they’re actually wrong/lying, they’re just being disingenuous about why things are they way they are.
Pretty much immediately the two got conflated, Buzzfeed came up with a list of celebrity dadbods which included Jonah Hill, Seth Rogen and Jack Black. When it was mentioned on The Nightly Show, Lavelle Crawford (who I’ve yet to see do a joke with a second layer to it) turned it into “Why am I going to the gym?” joke.
That’s how I end up feeling with so many of these plagiarism accusations, when I look at the stuff involved I’m usually ‘I don’t know if its plagiarism or if you both didn’t bother to come up with a better joke than the first, most obvious one.”
Hulu has season one of The Real World (and then, sadly they skip ahead to season 22, whatever that is). In further disappointment, I think its the syndicated version with the music changed. They’re also getting Sienfeld.
I don’t know if telling them to watch something else is a very Korean thing to do.
I actually kinda prefer the five-in-a-row ad breaks because then I have time to walk out of the room and get something, unlike the two or three ad breaks where I end up watching the ads, pausing the show once those ads are done and then grabbing whatever I needed from the kitchen or whatever.
In red are the countries where me being me is illegal. I’m growing less and less patient with that.
As I recall, Winstead left because Kilborne made a crude joke about her to a magazine pretty early in his tenure.
I’m a big fan of Lupicia teas. If you can find a store you can get some locally themed teas and some of their fruit teas are amazing.

Am I the only one who was planning on making some mac and cheese (with bacon bits!) because of Fresh Off the Boat?
When I was on a limited budget Kraft was 2/$1 on special, the store brand stuff was 2-3/$1 and the Kraft needs butter to taste good. Kraft was a treat when the specials were right.
It’s in the gayborhood, so I don’t get the impression they’re pretending the targeted audience is straight women. I just hope it doesn’t turn out to be one of those gay businesses that get annoyed with straight women patronizing the place.
I’m sure you could find an outfit like that in an underwear catalog aimed at gay men.
For a moment I thought you were talking about Twin Peaks, the historical gay bar. (It’s the first gay bar to have picture windows at a time when they were all designed so that you couldn’t see the patrons.)
It’s such a dick move and one of the reasons why it has the worst service in town-only the crappy waitresses are willing to stand for it. All the good ones are poached by better places
It's amazing to have a local source of cherimoyas, from my experience you've got to buy them ripe. When I've bought green ones they ripen on the counter half the time, the other half they turn rotten without getting ripe.
She’s really good about feminist issues and not in the “she’s on the right side” way but her jokes articulate various issues really well, especially on her sketch show but her history also includes some pretty racist stuff. Thankfully it seems like she’s listened to her critics and those jokes are less frequent... but…
Yes but if it were Dane Cook there wouldn’t be any interesting jokes in his history that suggests he can do better than those offensive tweets. This is more like when Amy Schumer’s jokes get offensively “edgy”.
