I think chocolotto was referring specifically to what we see depicted in the media, not what is the reality. It's true that you rarely see interracial couples in the media in which one half is not white. But in reality, as you said, it is quite common for interracial relationships to not include a white person.

I think people have completely missed the point of your post. There definitely is a racist hierarchy within the food industry.
