I took this photo and I had three lenses with me at the time - the 18-55 kit lens and 55-300 my Nikon came with and an additional 35mm prime. I took this with the kit lens at 18mm.

Since that trip I have replaced the kit lens with a more effective 18-200 allowing me to leave the 55-300 at home most of the time and I

It's very unique and the owner loves it. I think that's what matters most. :)

For the record, the orange one in the back row is not an F1 LM; rather it is an F1 GTR that has been resprayed in McLaren's traditional orange paint and converted for road use.

Pretty common for manufacturers to buy or borrow examples of competitors models to see how they stack up in comparison. See it all the time.

My all-time personal favorite - CM-Arte.com

You'll be amazed at some of the stuff he has produced from motorsport and road rallies and events around Europe and the UK. :)

May I suggest Arnaud Taquet?

Drew absolutely belongs on a list like this. :)

Was wondering why no one had posted this one yet.

Even looks good without the Downforce Kit.

I'm quite sure he would have - the video gives a different impression entirely though.

Well it wasn't a team, but one technician from Woking whose only job is to work on McLaren F1s did do the work in Jay's garage. That's the kind of service you get when you are Jay Leno. ;-)

A McLaren technician flew in from Woking and did this work in Jay's garage. You can be sure it received all the proper sign-offs in the Service Manual.

You are a bit late on the skyrocketing prices - we've seen a 200% increase in F1 values over the past 5 years. Jay is hardly to blame.

He's very hands on with his cars and loves to tinker but he also has a staff of really great mechanics who aren't afraid to tackle anything.

It was still nice of him to share bits of the process. :)

Pause and zoom in, you will see it says 'ATL Racing Fuel Cells" on the top of the sticker - it is the certification for the rubber fuel bladder going into the car which gets changed out every five years as Jay said. The tank is mounted behind that gold foil covered panel so the sticker goes on the outside until next

Exhaust system on the McLaren F1 is made almost entirely of Inconel.

Kick yourself harder - today they are commanding prices beyond $8M.

I missed the boat as well, but I never even had the million bucks to start with. ;-)

Jay Leno does not own any Ferraris currently and to my knowledge he never has.

There is one 308 that hangs out in his garage and is often seen in the background of photos and videos but the car belongs to his shop foreman, Bernard Juchli.
