True, but I wouldn't be surprised if it came to light that publishers pressured MicroSoft to include such an option in their console. Or at the very least requested it.

I don't use redbox. I don't rent or buy used games, I prefer publishers and the developers they support see sales. As they are directly responible for the games I love. I rarely lend games. I couldn't care less about drm. Good luck with the struggle brave marytrs.

How else do you plan to authenticate the games you buy on first run? Just wanted to know since that's impossible without a connection as far as I know. You'd hate to buy a new game on either console only to not be able to play it.

They're also missing the majority of games announced for the 360/PS3/PS4/Xbox One, which could have something to do with them not having any DRM/Always On.

This is rediculous, i'm going to say this once more.

Don't most PC games come with a one-time use code? DRM? Day-1 server issues? Don't act like PCs are above all this. They've been doing it for years.

Think about all the clicks Kotaku is getting by fanning the flames of this "Xbox One is going to steal your babies!" type hysteria.
