Good freakin lord. Do Catholic bishops have that much time on their hands? Are they that petty? … Yes they are.

In an actual and rational world, this wouldn’t mean anything.

Living up to the username I see!

Speaking only for myself, its resemblance to a boob isn’t what bothers me. I just think it looks tacky and faux-antique.

Gawker media really struggling to write good content these days

Because it only takes 30 minutesa nd you don’t have to look at that ugly light fixture. You can instead have something you enjoy.

Solid advice. I’ll add, if it gets physical, fight dirty. Eyes, throat, etc. Groin on a male.

As someone who dealt with variants of this myself, it’s subjective to the issue, even with 20/20 hindsight, I don’t think I found good ways to deal with some of the situations I had.

...never throw the first punch. But ALWAYS throw the last.

The “real fuck-up” is definitely still the rape but that’s splitting hairs as I totally agree with you. If you see a grown employee behaving at all inappropriately with a 14 year old and don’t fire them immediately, what the fuck are you doing??

As one who was bullied mercilessly, I learned some ways to get them to stop, but it always ends with the same thing: You have to have the last word. It ends up being how you get there that can change. Here are a few things I did:

I wish I had the answer. The late Mr Reyes and I spent hours in principals’ offices, over bullying that our grandchild (of whom we had custody) received. Middle school was the worst. I remember her getting pulled into a principal’s office over her hitting half a dozen boys who were ganging up on her. Yes, six against

What a fuck-up by the franchisee and McDonald’s. The attention is on the guy being a sex offender, but the real fuck-up here was that they basically ignored him being a massive creep even before the rape not just to his subordinates, but to underage subordinates at that - something you should not tolerate even with

I agree with both points.

Kick Texas out.

I have ridden on route where cars zips by at 60-70 mph. But guess what, not only was I in the designated bike lane, but they also pass with a three feet buffer. Cars and cyclist can get along, its just a matter of mutual respect.

Every surface level road is a legal road for cyclists unless it’s specifically marked otherwise and you, as a driver, are the responsible party to avoid hitting them.

As a cyclist, I have transitioned about 90% of my rides indoor via trainer and training app. After my kid was born, and several near misses including getting hit by a car while running, it was time to mitigate unnecessary risk.

Even if the bikers were in the middle of the lane, it isn’t legal to run them over.  You have to wait for a legal area with clear and safe sight lines to pass.

Agree. Texas can eat shit for a number of reasons but this stuff happens all the time in the North East as well.
