American politics at its finest.

Wait, you can just say that even if it’s unconstitutional, it’s still a law and that's not a defense against it? That seems like a pretty big flaw in the entire system.

well, that was a related point for me, too: there’s lots of delicious, better alternatives!

Did I just read that whole article about the change of daylight savings, without seeing the actual date that daylight savings in changing...

I agree with your choice but just because turkey just doesn’t taste good. There’s a reason we don’t often roast a turkey and that’s because there are way better food choices out there.

Particularly vegetable-based jello salads; too many of them look as if they’ve already been eaten once.

green bean casserole is apparently beloved, but i don’t get the love for it. also, any kind of jello salad.

I sort of disagree. For my family mashed potatoes are a common year round food, yet I would still miss them at Thanksgiving.

If you live in New York or Quebec you can also call your local representative or MNA and request they accept Ontario’s plan to do away with time shifting all together so we can finally be rid of this antiquated and deadly (Yes deadly, there is a spike in traffic accidents during the time shift period) policy that only

It amuses me (i.e. makes me crazy) that the same party that pushed the “corporations are people” never seems to acknowledge that if they are people, they need to follow ALL the laws that people do.

I mean, after gay marriage, what’s next? I’m sure there are states that still have anti-miscegenation laws ‘on the books’ or pro-slavery/pro-segregation laws.

Proving yet again that COVID isn’t taking out the right people quickly enough.

This was expected. Once the Supreme Court knocked down abortion rights, the “Christians” would go after all the rights they hate.

Yes. I want a TV show about housewives who track down and sue sex offenders as a more lucrative side hustle than the latest MLM fad. Law and Order: Minivan Posse

Conservatives: Let’s allow private citizens to sue other private citizens if they get an abortion!
Also Conservatives: Oops! Wait a minute! What if other laws are passed to where gun control advocates can sue gun owners? Whoopsie!
