Back in 90 +/- a couple years, we were paying something like 3 or 4$ per meal... If you didn’t eat one, you could swipe it off for canteen...@ 1.50$ credit per meal & then they still charged 3$ for a 6-pack of soda.

I’ve watched more than a few episodes... meh. I’ve heard tell that they’ve bought a couple things [same story repeated? idk] for a reasonable price (they felt), were able to sell it for significantly more than they expected, and sent the original owner some portion of the excess... apparently.
