ah yes creative acquisition™ & unacknowledged compensation™ I remember them fondly.

Also.. “No Cost” means that someone previously gave you the components to make the thing... if you bought the things & just happen to have them still laying around in a jar somewhere in your basement/garage... it really isn’t “no cost”... maybe no new cost. bah!

fyi: If you ever have “waste” when making cookies... you’re doing something very, very wrong...

this 1000x... Birds do not need you to feed them...(unless, maybe, it’s an unusually harsh winter, maybe & not just a single storm or 2).

another” two years...?

That would presuppose that their parents [the helicopter mom type mainly] 1) think & 2) intend for their offspring to ever leave the nest...

I figured that out myself a few years ago.... & it works with any powder you want to dissolve in a liquid, coco, flour, bullion...

Bully for you... you should also mention that there is nothing original in christianity... it is ALL (to be polite) borrowed from other, older, already existing religions.

The willingness to take advantage of the offer others make you (time off work, etc) has no bearing on a person’s religiosity or lack there of...

Pretending you like something you don’t in order to “save their feelings” only encourages them to continue to give you the type of thing you don’t like. ... That you, at best, just leave sitting in a closet somewhere & they, waste their money when they could try something else that you might actually like/enjoy/want.

So, do you give 10 10$ gifts or 1 100$ gift? Or maybe 2 50$ ones? Would you rather your kids have a richness of quantity or quality? Keeping in mind that the family’s income dictates what qualifies as “richness.”

So... basically some candidates say things about stuff they have no idea about (as in nothing other than generalized feelings about it, not actual thought-out, fact based ideas/plans)? Not really big news, is it?

I have them send 5 every 2nd month. Or they’ll do it on demand like... I had a beard for years but had to settle for a goatee recently-ish after radiation treatments. Upside is now the left side is pretty sparse. But safety razors sound even cheaper yet... hmmmm

I was much annoyed when Costco stopped carrying the sensor blades. I got the thing in a care package from Univ when I started... I suppose a 25yr run is good. Now I use the 2blade thing from Dollar Shave Club

Novel idea: Cook/not cook something & give it to your kid with a statement: try this, if you like it you can have more... if you don’t you don’t have to eat any more of it...

The same can be said of most foods.

My laptop’s 8-years-old now & gpu will not work in Win10. Will Win10 still try to install itself on a machine knowing it won’t work there? I got & killed the GWX update once it told me it was a no-go. And killed it the 2nd time it snuck in.

I’d say that gave her the computer she deserved/wanted then.

All reports say that you can get it for free (as an upgrade/update) for 1-year after its release date (July 1-was it?) and can use it forever after for free. If you wait until 366 days after release it will cost you to get, but still free to use forever(just like previous versions). At least until they come out with

I can agree with half of your conclusion.
