Yeah, I don't see him moving from Switzerland to the US just to be more competitive in a national-level championship while getting paid significantly less than he is now.

Seb will not do anything else than F1.

So no MLB team has any financial advantage over any other, is this your argument?

Yeah, but at the same time FIA could just say ‘OK, start your own circuit, then.’

You don’t sign, you don’t race (in F1).

1st Gear: It also helps that Toyota owns a power company, real estate, a mining company, a college, and a bunch of other things. They don’t just make cars and things related to cars.

Neutral: I’ve slid into the point where I just await more bad things, and there’s no use worrying about it in the present when I’ve got

Wipers can be activated from the stalk, they will also activate automatically because there’s a rain sensor. It’s only the wiper speed (that is also managed by the sensor) that is on the touch screen. Guy wanted to override the speed.

I mean, if they’re showing his previous wins at a given circuit, they can’t do much about the fact that he was wearing a different race suit at the time, can they? His team have been very supportive of his actions, and Liberty seem to be finally getting their act together and taking this seriously too - Hungary was a

Your talking points have wandered off the island. My complaint is about Orlove calling for drivers to be replaced because they didn’t take a knee with Hamilton and express the appropriate zeal for F1's newfound cause. I’m out.

I was wondering when Mercedes wil do a white/blue livery with David stars instead of Mercedes stars, accompanied with “Jewish Lives Matter”, since we’re all so good at selective shopping in history...

Yeah, privileged white dudes should bow down before the woke police. Plato advocated the enforcement of correct behavior as defined by “philosopher kings” for your own good because the just man is happier than the unjust man, even if he does not know it. Similar themes occur in authoritarian regimes today and

Kudos for Hamilton for supporting the cause. However kneeling is a choice and no one should be shamed into joining the protest. The Formula One crowd is not focused on the BLM movement and many of them are wondering why they are being dragged into the ‘show’ that they feel has nothing to do with their world. Hamilton

Hamilton’s message is first-hand, honest, and direct. He has (and continues to) experience racism on a daily basis. His skills, intelligence, and life choices are questioned and discounted all the time. Let’s applaud Lewis for his stand and applaud Mercedes for backing him.

My comment history should tell you where I am at on this, but the kneeling for the flag was a specifically US action, taken in response to the NFL fans standing for the National Anthem. While that same “stand for the anthem” is across all nations, even Lewis extrapolating it to F1 at the time was something different.

Honestly, how simple do you have to be, to literally equate the action of not kneeling to being against equality.

I, and unless you can prove otherwise all the F1 drivers support equality. This is done by including people in my personal and professional life based on either personality and/or ethics rather than

Im ok with them not kneeling. What is a kneel going to do? It's stupid if you ask me.

So let me get this straight. F1 is a huge corporation full of rich white dudes who possibly (likely) are only doing this because it is trendy/good PR/attractive to young consumers/penance for terrible past actions.

Why do we now expect professional athletes or entertainers to have insight on issues beyond their field of expertese, especially when it comes to politics or race?

How is kneeling at a sporting event going to end racism? Will all racists stop being racist after they see a bunch of F1 drivers kneel?  That’s the missing link?

Jonathan Isaac didn’t kneel the other day too...oh but he’s black. Maybe Raphael should explain to him why he's wrong...
