Easily the best of the new seasons without Clarkson & co. The new guys were funny, surprisingly decent drivers, and surprisingly decent at the hosting job.
And that’s entirely fine. The important things that there was a battle. You can’t have a sixty lap battle for the lead. That’s how it works in F1. The scrap for the rest of points finish positions was interesting and lasted the whole time.

As others have said, this is a dumb idea if you want to see more on-track overtakes and fewer races decided in the pits.
It’s his hand holding the gun. I’ve never really gotten this image. I can see what they’re seeing, but it’s not a “can’t unsee” kind of thing, because to see it as an extension of his face means that the gun barrel is just sort of floating in air connected to a weird-shaped shadow.
