It’s really not easy to spot an aimbotter unless they’re using the more obvious ones. You can easily create one that mimics 55-60% hitratio which is easily explained by “being l33t” and if it’s small-scale invitation only, it’s doubtful if Blizzard ever finds out. You can also toggle it on or off to throw stat based

Totally agree, what’s the point. Sure, everyone derives some satisfaction from winning at games, but if you can only win by cheating all you’re really doing is trolling the other players. It’s not like the cheaters are winning prize money or anything that makes the win worth anything concrete.

I think the reason its more popular in asia is detatchment from your oponents as people. this is sometging that exists in general on the internet and for whatever reason people get shocked when there is consequences for actions.

Hmm a wild guess is they are insecure lil D*** kids/men who don’t succeed in anything and cheating in a game gives them the little upperhand over everybody else, so they feel a fake sense of being “powerful”, that they lack on their lives. But they are still useless in other games and real life.

“I am extremely shocked by these results.”

“I’m reading dune for the first time at this moment.”

That it does.

UGH WHY IS THE BARON NUDE?
in all seriousness, that guy’s work is great.

I think the thing that has made it difficult to translate from book to screen, is character motivation. Paul in Dune, in particular, is simultaneously both a child stumbling into things he doesn’t understand, a self-fulfilling prophecy in action, and an omnipotent near-god acting on the knowledge of all future

Lots of inner monologing and thoughts. Explanations of what make certain things important, etc.

Love those images but it’s all I can do to resist making Yellow Submarine jokes. ;-) Or hat tipping Mobius and the first Heavy Metal movie.

Production design by Tarsem?? Holycrap...

The idea that every potential relationship absolutely requires a new portmanteau is deeply upsetting to me. Use your words, people.

Man, people sure have a strange way of expressing their economic insecurity.

Fortunately, aging bigots aren’t a protected class.

The thing that just kills me is that Twitter is a private corporation which has the right to ban, block or stifle anyone they want in their medium. You have the right to free-speech but they have the right to run a business anyway they want. I am glad that this was pointed out in the article.

Pretty wild that Stormfront can’t find a single fucking grammar nazi.

There was a new host being built in that secret lab. Who is it?

nah
