Hahahaha didn’t know that bit, that’s hilarious.

Can’t wait to see him in hawks jersey.
Praying that Q doesn’t give him the BORE-HIM-TO-DEATH-IN-ROCKFORD treatment he’s given other players who are solid elsewhere. (Hayes, Danault)

I get it why he was traded. Because in 2 years time he’s going to want 8 mil, and he’s totally going to deserve it. And the Hawks won’t be able to afford it, anyways.

Size really isn’t his problem. From what i’ve seen and reports i’ve read he’s tough to knock off the puck because he has a low center of gravity.

I’m glad we got Saad back. And we as blackhawks fan have to understand we can’t keep revealing superstars and keeping them all.
That said, it sucks to see Panarin go. He was such a steal and he did amazing for a kid who didn’t speak a word of english, came on his own to the US, too.
Saad has a couple of extras to his

Working with animation and manga publishing in all of asia is a soul-sucking deal.
You can find a lot of people who people would call “weebs” that went to try it out and came out a husk of a person, on youtube detailing their grueling experiences.
It’s a shame so many talented people in Japan are so poorly compensated

Let go, mang. You saw your team crowned 3 times.
Grudges will poison your heart
lol

I’m not ruling it out either.
And people shouldn’t be this mad about a contract that’s 8 years old at this point and the rules allowed it when it was signed. Next time, people should ask the question if their teams are doing everything they can to win it.

I was expecting the white one to look better, but it looks like pajamas, to be honest.

Even with diminishing skills, specially in the scoring department, he’s still super important in the defensive outlook of the team. Also a key cog in both Special Teams units.
In terms of defense, he hasn’t slowed down at all.
At 5.5mil a year, and what he can still produce his cap hit is not what’s hamstringing the

It’s a hunch based on what he said when the season ended. He still likes to play and still can play. If in a year he still wants to, he’ll be back.

Sure but these kind of contracts were in fact allowed by the league, like Barry said. I don’t get fans of other teams who are mad about this. Just because the stupid GMs for their teams couldn’t or wouldn’t do it.
The better teams in any sports league will try and find loopholes to stay great for the longest time

If he were a 38 year old that couldn’t play at all, i’d agree with you 100%.
But Hossa is still playing very well. Which is why i don’t think he’s walking away forever. I really believe he’ll be back for the 18-19 season.

I raised the same question yesterday.
But from what i’ve read anywhere it’s a progressive skin condition (like a skin disease + allergy) that his equipment makes worse. Just getting hypoallergenic gear won’t help.
And maybe, and this is just speculation on my part, hypoallergenic materials aren’t tough enough to

I just don’t think it’s very convenient to lose the best defensive forwards in the team and probably the whole league. (Even at 37, he’s still better than even Toews at that).

If he retires hawks will have a 3.5mil cap hit for each remaining year on his contract (4 more years).
LTIR lets the hawks avoid the cap hit this year, but since it’s Hossa, i think he will try and play the season after the next. I don’t think he’s going to walk away from 20 million. Plus he played really well last

Hossa stated last year he doesn’t intend to retire while he can play.
If he said he’s going to out a one season, i expect him to be back for the next one, because he showed progress last year, instead of regressing due to his age. He played better than the previous two or three years. So we can conclude that other than

People saying this is convenient or a conspiracy are idiots. Seriously.
1 - Because it’s not convenient for two reasons: Cap recapture and losing one of the team’s best players, a guy who would be team captain in maybe any other team except the Penguins.
2 - People with no medical knowledge have absolutely no idea how

Cute! Impressive detail work!

Am i the only one who thinks Twitch’s video encoding sucks badly?
Youtube’s video quality in live streaming seems much better.
I don’t get it.

Can twitch prime users tell me if prime has better/lighter video encoding?
