I recall Todd pitching this idea like five to ten years ago, and out was a bad idea then.

We know how it’s gonna end. They’re gonna get the Cosmic Cube back together and undo all that’s been done. Like they do in every single story like this since Per Degaton started conquering the world back in the 40's. It’s not the destination, it’s the journey.

Seriously. And when I was a kid picking up Title X #378 or whatever, I generally never felt lost. It’s not about the damn issue number, its about general accessibility.

The problem I have with that is, it can contribute to the cancellation problem Marvel has right now. “I’ll wait for the trade” can result in a series not getting enough sales to even warrant enough issues for a TPB. It’s a fucked up system we’re having to deal with right now, and there’s not great way to deal with it

This is really interesting to me, because even though I’m a DC diehard, I couldn’t get into their New 52 revamp and read more Marvel, which had just launched their “Heroic Age”/Marvel NOW stamp, and was actually more accessible for me. And then came Rebirth, just as Marvel was pulling crossover after crossover and big

I mean, huge numbers on books can be confusing, but I’m a diehard comic book nerd and I get confused by the constant new volumes - it makes it a nightmare to try to catch up chronologically.

To be fair, that’s what older fans are asking for. They want the same Peter Parker they grew up with. I’m on several FB comics groups and that’s one of the most consistent complaints.

That I want to see stopped. The multi issue arcs with the constant reboots have been a huge pain in the ass to try and keep up with. I’ve pretty much stopped buying any brand new title from Marvel, simply because they will either cancel it by issue 5 or so, or it will be relaunched by issue 12 if it even does well.

Marvel, I love you, but I am deeply cynical about your intentions and actions with the Always a Big Event bullshit that you’ve been pulling for the past several years.

Marvel thinks that people love to see Peter be miserable. The Editorial team clearly hasn’t gotten why people like Spider-Man in years.

The Spider-Man and Deadpool changes really annoy me. It feels like they haven’t learned anything when it comes to them.

Personally, I look forward to resetting the numbers for many series back to where they would be at, were it not for the near constant relaunches. From what I understand (based off just minor research), the relaunches have always experienced short spikes of increased sales, followed by pretty significant dropoffs not

Well, I’ve heard that its basically how Iron Man 1 was done. Worked out pretty well then.

I, on the other hand, watched those scenes and exclaimed out loud, “how did they make this so boring”.

Why is everyone shouting?

As a Mississippian myself, I thought he did a cracker jack job.

It also makes up some of the more forgettable scenes on Supergirl. Krypton is one of the least interesting parts of either of their backstories and it feels like an uphill battle trying to get people to care about it enough for a tv series. But Syfy has been making some decent stuff lately so I’ll at least give it a

Krypton in MoS was visually appealing to me even though my WTF alarm was blaring the entire time.

Don’t be level headed...just jump the gun.

It’s just one poster that connects to many others to form a large one
