That bothered you more than Turner over Al Horford?

Except for Mayo, Wilfork, Katzenmoyer, Chandler Jones and Malcolm Brown, and that’s just Belichick-era first rounders (though Katzenmoyer might have been a Pete Carroll pick).
But that dude also set records and was beloved by Belichick of all people. The Pats have been home to lots of wayward guys, like Cory Dillon, Gronk, (um, Aaron Hernandez ...)
Sorry — I just realized in my other response that I had you confused with the Vikings fan!
My point was it’s easy to say you wouldn’t draft dudes with “character concerns” but you could just as easily miss on guys by doing that — or were you not a Vikings fan during the Randy Moss years?
So where would you have drafted Cam and Winston?
Based on the initial reports, it would not shock me if there was a lobby and parking garage camera footage, and at least one parking attendant that she screamed to for help, as well as the 911 call and hospital records ... not the same as her cooperation, but it goes beyond a he-said, she-said situation
Well shit, after last night, Harden is making you look very smart! :)
Brandon Roy and Grant Hill would like to have a word with you. This is the same thinking that basically ruined them.
A little better. They were better at sucking.

They also get the 2017 No. 1 of a team that, presumably, will be starting Carson Wentz next year.
I think there’s a high probability this is like when they traded down to avoiding taking Sanchez.
Well, to be fair, Melo *could* have gone to other teams. So could Kobe. They did actively choose to be the only stars on their teams.
I don’t think Curry (or Wade, Westbrook, etc.) is in quite the same camp as Harden or Irving, Kobe, maybe Melo — ball-stoppers who like to pound the ball, set up their defender, wait for a pick, wait for another pick, etc., while the rest of the team gradually looses interest.
Oh, as a Wizards fan, I have learned the fine art of talking myself into any idiotic move. I know all the bullet points for making the case that Dwight would be just a great fit.
Fair points, I’m just not sure if he could subjugate his game/correct his bad habits enough to fit in with a team like the Spurs.
Couple of things:
