Plus the fact that Twin Snakes was bad. Only people who want it are the people who haven't played it. :p

Have you played Twin Snakes?

Portable Ops, apparently Kojima hates it.

nope.avi, Twin Snakes is terrible, just get an emulator and play the original PS1 version.

Apparently Kojima hates it, which is insane, as you said, it fits perfectly with the cannon and explains the whole backstory of Soldiers Haven and how Big Boss acquired the funds.

I never understood that, I know Kojima hates it because he didn't write it, but damn, it actually fits REALLY well in the MGS universe and explains how Big Boss got the initial Idea for Soldiers Haven and how the funds for it were found.

Twin Snakes is BEYOND disappointing, just imagine MGS1 with better graphics, ...but with worse voice acting (everyone sounds bored that they're re-doing the game, except Hayter), generic bland music (which they didn't licence, BUT DID FOR MGS4???), and Michael Bay cutscenes where everything has to be all action-y,

You should, Music, Voice Acting, Gameplay, Difficulty, etc, are all better on the Original PS1 version, the only thing good about Twin Snakes is Graphics.

Twin Snakes is terrible, only the people who HAVEN'T played it want it.

Twin Snakes is a BAD game, it sticks out compared to the rest for the boring voice acting, over the top Michael Bay cutscenes and soulless music, it amazes me how many people want to play it, yet most hardcore MGS fans I've spoke to, would always say the original is the best version. And I agree, I actually hate Twin

Good, no one likes Twin Snakes except Graphic Whores.

Lost Frontier wasn't made by Naughty Dog, and was crappy.

Don't say Twin Snakes as a FIRST, it's got the most boring voice acting, mis-directed cutscenes and bland score of ANY of the games. Considering cutscenes, cast and the music are a big part of the series, telling him to play the worst one first isn't a good start. :p

Twin Snakes is a horrible game, unless you think Michael Bay films are great, in which case, you'll love Matrix Gear Solid: Twin Snakes.

But Kojima then never added them into later games, so it's painfully obvious that it doesn't fit here, it's like Michael Bay's version of MGS where people won't pay attention unless characters are doing backflips or fancy moves, PRIME EXAMPLE being the convo with Liquid Snake at the end of the game, in the original

Can you find a source on that? Because if that's what he wanted the game to be, how come later games DIRECTED by him were never that batshit crazy with characters doing back flips for no reason?

I never want to see Twin Snakes again, such a soulless devoid game, worse voice acting (you could tell most of the cast were bored), worse music (couldn't get the rights to many tracks fro MGS1 for some odd reason) and worst of all, Michael Bay-esque cutscenes, I don't care if they were what Kojima originally planned,

That was actually Sam & Max Season 3, not Poker Night 1, and I agree, I was hacked bt a TF2 trader, ...JUST SO THEY COULD STEAL THAT HAT.

Being a prostitute IS empowering, where you can make sad pathetic vile men give you money for allowing them a few moments worth of Sex since it's the only thing they're obsessed with in their pathetic lives, and they're gamers to, that's a usual link.

Now playing

MGS2 deserves a mention to, for how unique it's used later in the game when the AI's go crazy and starts tricking you into thinking you got a game over.
