I said, “Good day”, sir.
I said, “Good day”, sir.
I never claimed you said it was the worst. I am the one who said that the worst of the new eps were still great when compared to most of the stuff on TV. Work on your reading comprehension and watch more television. Good day.
I will indeed watch any future episodes, and with relish! Not because I am weak, but simply because I find even the weakest X-Files episode to be entertaining on some level.
Awful TV? As a TV producer myself, I can say with 100% certainty, that you haven’t watched enough television. Perhaps you are prone to exaggeration, but the current TV landscape is so filled with such nigh-unwatchable crap that even the worst of the recent X-Files eps are a true gem by comparison.
As I already mentioned elsewhere in this thread, there’s been plenty of great remake/reboots. Cape Fear, True Grit, War of the Worlds, Carpenter’s The Thing, Ocean’s 11, Scarface, 12 Monkeys, The Departed, 3:10 to Yuma, The Fly, Let Me In, The Thomas Crowne Affair, The Italian Job, Dawn of the Dead...
My kids were big fans of both Hotel Transylvanias, Goosebumps and Amazing Spider-Man 1 & 2 (not sure how you saw 3 & 4 as they weren’t actually made). I found the Evil Dead remake highly enjoyable, myself.
Ok, it’s a slow morning, I’ll bite. How does anything I’ve written here make me an “ass” in any sense?
Hmmm...
A link or two confirming all (any?) of that would go a long way. I’m not suggesting you’re lying, just that none of it is common knowledge, even amongst the geek crowd.
Of course every movie has a chance of failing. But as I already said elsewhere in this thread, there’s a chance you’ll win the next billion dollar Powerball, too. Again, Feig has a tremendous following, as do McCarthy and Wiig. With the added brand recognition, it’s highly unlikely this movie will fail.
You’ve got me confused with someone else.
Of course there’s a chance. There’s a chance you’ll will the next billion dollar Poweball, too.
Who? Where?
You can choose whatever words you’d like to describe it, I don’t really care. There’s just no real chance of it crashing and burning.
Yeah but the I remembered Cape Fear, True Grit, War of the Worlds, Carpenter’s The Thing, Ocean’s 11, Scarface, 12 Monkeys, The Departed, 3:10 to Yuma, The Fly, Let Me In, The Thomas Crowne Affair, The Italian Job, Dawn of the Dead. All of which were great ideas and unqualified successes.
Please name me a movie that someone has asked to be remade.
I concur.
The people that seem to be really making such a big deal of it are the butthurt fans of the original movie and it’s crappy sequel.
Prepare for disappointment.
Except it won’t crash and burn at all. In fact, it’s easily going to be the biggest of Paul Feig’s hits so far.
