I did enjoy the narration, yes, it was very charming. But I didn't get that far in the game to truly enjoy it.

I've been holding off purchasing Transistor for ages. I didn't like Bastion and I'm not a fan of RPGs, is Transistor that special that every gamer should at least try it? I love the music though

Nah, it wasn't that. I knew that the game must have something new. The funny part was saying "something new and different" and then name-dropping a game with an 8 next to the title. It was just a joke, I'm sorry if it rubbed you the wrong way

It's not just you. I'm very pleased like this. But I was already under the impression that Jaffe was working on a smaller scale title. I love the guy and will be excited for everything he does. And yes, this appeals to the teenage in me who loved to draw in class. Can't wait to try it.
