I will, thanks. I took your post as an implied measure of shared bereavement, as much as saying “condolences” can do at worst, no worries there.

I played through all the Zelda games up to Wind Waker for the first time my freshman year in high school. I was alone during that time, that’s for certain, but I made it out with a new lifelong love for Zelda, which is worth something still to me.
Thanks. It’s going to be hard to go back for Christmas, but we’ll play lots of games like my grandma would’ve wanted.
Games, for me, are nothing without the stories and personalities surrounding them, given life by our memories.
That’s all so sweet, thanks for sharing.
My grandma passed away from lung cancer in October. We played hearts every single time we were together, that’s what we’ve always done. It was hard to say goodbye and I’ve never wanted to play any game as much with anybody — what I’d give for one more game. It’s hard to let someone go, but having a hobby to share, a…
FF VI on my gameboy micro looks amazing.
The worst is having to leave your Gameboy on during the Elite 4 final showdown because you’re being yelled at to come to “dinner” and being quite nervous about your remaining battery life.
I’m in love. I really want to get gud with the witch.
Nah
I’m a practiced ‘spoiler evader’, so I generally know everything I could be spoiling myself with but choose not to until I experience it first hand (there’s quite the list of things I keep from myself — many of them new games). It saves some time but mostly keeps my head from stressing out about getting a new sweet…
All of this is why I don’t listen to pop (well, I listen to some pop, but it’s generally, like, good, y’know?), except I listened to Ellie Goulding’s new album a lot. My girlfriend is upset about this.
This is one of my favorite Wii games, I’ll probably break out my Wii to play it again now so more people can enjoy it with me. It’s actually great with 3 or 4 people even though it’s just 2 player since it’s a neat watch as well.
I feel like playing it again too!
I’m 26, I work minimum wage and I have no money right now. I help my 25 year old sister take care of our dad who is living off of social security and is nearly disabled by his knees that don’t work very well anymore. Though I’ve never needed to hide any informal advantage, there are many good things about my life, and…
I love all of the shootouts in Hardboiled, especially the one at the end where he’s holding an infant the whole time.
I’m a scared white guy but I think Cam Newton might only have one more loss this season, so that’s neato. I wish I wasn’t a Seahawks fan this year (psssst — I’m secretly not right now, everyone’s getting pissy and annoying, so, go Panthers!).
Hey I’ll be on the Panther’s side this year. Sign me up for undefeated 7-1 bliss over sub 0.500 mediocrity.
I’ve been playing Smash Bros and Splatoon enough that I’m not playing any other games as of late. Secondary console my ass.
