I like this, cause games I thought long abandoned and finalized are getting huge updates. Like Postal 2, they added a ton of features to that.

You mean this?

Well, sorry to burst your bubble but life isn't fair.

There is no way on this green Earth that anything can top the masterpiece of Duralgo's Joker post. The genius and near perfection is too great.

There haven't been very good emulators for DS

No more linear? FFX is certainly pretty linear, but it's not as linear as XIII.

You forgot the terrible writing, linear progression and bland gameplay.

Don't be an apologist, the story is a mess. I know it. Square knows it. Everyone here knows it. People, entities, and ideas are never fully explored/explained in the main story and cutscenes; major plot points are completely flipped around to the point where XIII more or less becomes "we have to save cocoon by doing

The script/direction was atrocious, the story was convoluted at best, and with no "main" character to follow, no one truly develops as a character. The gameplay was fantastic however, so they got one thing right (IMO).

You're the only person ever to say that Judgement was the best Gears of War game.

"Sketchy" Promo?

In the last 20 years, Nintendo introduced motion controls, a portable system with a touch screen, a system with a touch screen, and a 3d handheld. In my opinion, motion controls were one of the most harmful ideas in the gaming industry besides in-app purchases, so I don't know where all this "innovation" is.

Machinima is the worst. [NSFW if your workplace doesn't like poopy mouthed videos or some shit].

It has jack all to do with nostalgia. Regardless of whether you like pastel or not, the colors are more pastel than the original, that's a fact. FFIV featured a prominent steampunk-like style, also a fact. Steampunk is not commonly associated with pastel colors. There's undeniable evidence right here, nostalgia

Please stop with the "TAKE OF DEM NOSTALGIA GOGGLES JASON." The game looks bad, as a *fact.* The beautiful colour palette of the original game has been scrapped in favour of bland, bright paint-tube colours. The characters themselves look like they were made in MS Paint. The UI looks like it's the generic iOS default

Personally, I think dismissing it as nostalgia is missing the point (and Jason may well be taking a nostalgia angle, but I'm just offering a different view). In my opinion I don't think the new sprites look very good compared to other modern 2d games. It has nothing to do with the SNES version. But you're right, it is
