Pretty much this, I wanted to buy the hype, I wanted Final Fantasy to be "that good" again, hell I went to the midnight release at the local gamestop. But it's just not a good game, let alone a good final fantasy. It looks pretty, it looks gorgeous even, but its not a good game.

That last part especially reads like a Bobby "The Brain" Heenan promo, lol.

Regardless of how far we march into digital only, to me, there ALWAYS has to be a physical alternative, even if its at a premium. I think what's going to happen in the coming years is much the same as what's happening with anime, in that physical is going to exist, but you're going to see more and more people only

I can understand why record companies do that though, because at the end of the day, that person doesn't own the song, so legally, the rights owner can have it taken down, this helps the little guy as much as the big guy.

Actually both the kids from South Park and Spongebob age at least once. I forget what season of South Park it was, I wanna say 3rd or 4th, but they make a big deal in the opening of them "NOW BEING IN THE 4TH GRADE WOOO", and spongebob has aged in the movie (as the movie is the intended endgame of spongebob).

This needs used more

Especially since now she's going to be an Outlaw of the federation, and there's literally a universe of possibilities you can run with, but sadly it'll probably never happen, and if it does, it'll be a retconned piece of garbage for a number of reasons like

Nice to see people still getting butthurt for no reason at all over how someone speedruns a game, lol

This is pretty much what won the 360 in the majority of houses, and why it exploded, was a domino effect.

If you want anyone to call the "Japanese George Lucas" then that's Kajishima Masaki (The original concept creator of Tenchi Muyo!)

I'm really glad you brought up Rollercoaster Tycoon. While I don't think it will ever be remembered on the same level as System shock 2 or Deus Ex, I think it was just as revolutionary if not for its popularity.

And how much did you pay for Isaac? lol I bet a whopping 5 dollars (including Wrath) when it came out, and Edmund STILL wants to have a loyalty discount to those who bought it. Rebirth is also set to have double the content of the base game and wrath combined, is built in a whole new engine that is supposed to run

If I had my way, at least 3 of the titles on this list would have been dropped to give Lost Odyssey a spot. It's so criminally underrated that It almost makes me mad.

I agree, I thought they were good designs, but unfortunately I don't think it would be well received at all, if these comments are any kind of litmus test.

Correction, it doesn't pay to make games on mobile*

Someone not deliberately bashing on Chinese Democracy or DNF? Their might just be hope for gaming humanity. DNF wasn't perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but the fact it even saw the light of day is a miracle. But it's like you said, pretty much everyone went in with completely unreasonable expectations, what

You mean with a share plan that no one, not even Microsoft could explain correctly, (or ever has) so people just ran with whatever they thought it meant (IE what you're describing) hailing it as a lost gem of an idea when it was probably going to be nothing more than a glorified demo sharer, because publisher's would

"Zoo Tycoon (Frontier Developments Ltd., Microsoft Studios)"

Wait, wait, wait

Are they actually going to have a plot that's not centered around "LOL WE BREAK THE 4TH PLOT, WHAT A TROPE" every 5 seconds? Because that was the biggest thing that detracted from their games, it's a novelty to have every once in awhile, but it really just shows the game as being way more shallow than it should.
