She’s sneaked “Run the World (Girls)” into class multiple times. I dig it, personally.

I don’t know, it really depends on the teacher, for me. Some classes can be boring, sure, but with a good instructor, I don’t get bored. My favorite instructor teaches a fast-paced flow class with lots of fun music and weird poses. She moves from Johnny Cash to Beyonce to Bikini Kill, so it keeps things interesting.
This is somehow funnier every time I watch it.
Aero bars. I hoarded them last summer when I was in the UK. Nothing like here in Ohio!
My inner 12 year-old is FREAKING OUT.
I helped vote him out of office! It was my proudest day as a young voter.
Yeah, it's really too bad. On the bright side, Crop Kitchen and Happy Dog at the Euc just opened down the street!
Ugh, I liked this place (been there a few times - cheap, delicious food). Why does the chef have to be so terrible?
Same. The voice acting really made the book.
Hello, fellow CWRU person! Even Case closed today! (So freaking glad. My students all looked like they wanted to die yesterday, so I can't imagine what teaching would have been like today!)
Yeah, I've never heard CHVRCHES before, and this didn't win me over at all. I love Janelle Monae for her energy, and this cover leeched all the joy out of the song.
Mmm, increased risk of hypertension.
Interesting! I was under the impression that it was MLA or bust if you're offered an interview (based on the Claire Potter/Rebecca Schuman dust-up from a few days ago on the UC Riverside interview notification controversy), but that's good to know.
Absolutely! One of my friends has two interviews later on in the week, and I'm interested/terrified to hear what horror stories she brings back.
I'm pretty sure it's a primarily space issue. All of the different departments doing interviewing get hotel rooms for interviews, and some have HUGE hiring committees (While my program usually sticks in the five/six member committee range, I've heard accounts of some having 15+). If the committee booked late or wanted…
I mean, given from what I've heard about MLA interviews (from other grad students and from my adviser), the candidate sometimes wind up sitting on a bed with the interviewers, so there's some pillow talking going on even in normal MLA interviews.
I tried to see Frozen when I visited my parents over the holidays, but all of the showings were sold out. The movie seems to have had something of a groundswell.
This is a great analogy. Stealing for debates with my relatives.
I came back from dinner with friends, and my Tumblr had exploded with Fannibal glee. So excited!
YES. I want those hours of my life back!
