I have no real issue with his voice acting given he's playing a machine. If anything it's the crappy script which ruins his lines much more so than the delivery. I've just hit level 20, mostly through campaign missions, and theres been really nothing script or story wise so far that'd establish any sort of connection…

Well yeah, considering the Hive have their base on the moon it makes sense. But, this is the internet. Everything is going to be overanalyzed into a fine mist.

I actually really liked Dinklage's voice acting. It has a touch of humanity but it's just stilted enough to remind you that the Ghost is a machine. Also the wizard coming from the moon makes a lot more sense in context.
