I turned 30 last year. I don’t have a career, just a menial labor job and I don’t make enough money to go back to school. I realized many years ago that I would never be able to retire, that I’d never be able to afford to buy a home, so I’ll be renting and working until the day I die.

Not sure why this is replying to Totilo instead of Gita, but oh well!

An old favorite teacher of mine used to say.

he exposed himself and began to urinate on video games

Not true (at least yet), though there is some XB1 functionality in that you can stream XB1 games into a virtual environment to play in the Rift. Considering that, sounds like they are prepping for some more XB1/Rift interactivity in the future (maybe barring the success of the PSVR) but that’s just me.

I will be extremely salty if they cancel the PS3 version. I backed at 150 (or something near that, I can’t remember). If I can’t even play....

It probably isn’t as bad as many people reading it will expect it sounds like. Simply because I’m sure the majority of Kotaku readers are from North America. Outside NA, over there, you’re portrayed as being incredibly polite most of the time while bending over backwards and assuming all blame/fault. (Remember,

I was excited to get to play Mario Tennis at a price that it is worth paying for, but every Toys R Us within 50 miles of me is out of stock

I’m from Lexington, too and my last name is Hobbs like one of the guys that started the company. It would be cool to find out that we’re related. Im already a huge Friday the 13th fan, so that along with Lexington pride has me definitely supporting this game.

Or maybe they’ll rename it “CEO Asks” as it was originally worded in Japanese.

They made it first on PS4 anyways so it is the superior platform to play on for this game since everything else is a port.

I don’t get the whole “Did you know him?” trolling going on tonight. No, I never met him. But who he was and what he did touched my life. My life will be just a little emptier because Iwata is no longer in it. That’s reason enough to grieve. For us humans, at least.

I was just thinking of this. How to explain how horrible that will be to my non-gaming friends. It will be- to Japan- like what Steven Spielberg and Joe Montana dying in the same plane crash would be to America.

When Miyamoto-san passes, I hope it is at a very old age, and if that is the case, at least, for me, I won’t feel any grief, but it will be a good time for reflection on his contributions and influence. This news today however, is quite sad.

+1 It should describe their (the aggrieved spouses) running into each other by accident in a bar, and the chorus should begin, “But as as long as we’re both here...”

24 hours to go.

Discovery bought most of the channel from Hasbro. It actually is good for both companies, because they can use Hasbro shows and Discovery Shows, catering to more audiences.
