@IMD1: Yes, it is impressive for a console released in 2005. I agree.
@Anthony Cookman: Already beat it and loved it. But after playing PC games at high resolutions on maximum settings, it's impossible to notice the graphical inferiority of the Xbox 360.
@Grimm808: Take a look at my responses to the other folks in this thread. It isn't 720p - your initial comment was accurate.
@getlefty: It's both. If the system was more powerful, Halo: Reach could be run at a higher resolution. It's a very well-optimized engine, actually.
@gunluva plays the hopscotch on the pro circuit: Yes, it does, but that's "false 720p." True 720p requires a horizontal resolution of 1280. 720p is today (correctly) referred to as a resolution of both x-axis and y-axis values.
@Master Chef: Umm, yes actually. If you play enough cutting-edge PC games, you will find almost all console games very...sub-par. Halo: Reach is one of the better ones, but the jaggies are there, without any doubt. Any experienced PC gamer can see them. And I used to own a PS1, and I do indeed remember the graphics of…
@Sabithomega: No the game is actually not running at 720p. Neither are Halo 3 nor Halo 3: ODST. This has been stated by Bungie many, many times. Here:

@RuBBa_cHiKiN: North Gizmodo is Best Gizmodo: No, on PCs, where it started and flourishes the most (seriously, not sure if you've played any Battlefield games on PC, but they are hands down a billion times better than on consoles, in every regard), at the very least. If on consoles, at the minimum on PC.
@TimOzcelik: I was about to post a comment saying this. I agree.
@McFluff: Actually, no the Taliban is not involved in the Middle East. They only have been messing around in Afghanistan (Central Asia) and Pakistan (South Asia, with the northern part often considered part of Central Asia...because the northern part is actually a part of historical Afghanistan).
@Azndude: You are the best person ever. Followed.
@grumpydorf: Afghanistan is not in the Middle East.

Umm, you totally screwed up some of those specs. I'm positive it doesn't have 1GB of DDR2 RAM. This isn't 2006-2007.
I like my custom HTPC with XBMC, thanks - it beats out all of these. I just happened to toss in some parts from my gaming rig (Core 2 Quad 9400, 4GB RAM DDR3 1333) that I replaced with more powerful parts (Core i7 920, 12GB RAM DDR3 1600) into an old case, bought a Radeon HD 4650, and set it up. Works beautifully.
@scrapking: I'm sure you're right. But selling well and having a fanbase larger than miniscule doesn't mean it'll be a good Halo game. Look at the CoD games, for example.
@scrapking: That's honestly not a lot. Check the stats for all of the other Halo games (even Halo 3: ODST has more people online than Halo Wars), the Battlefield games, or CoD.
@Curiously Flamboyant Sheep 2: The Reckoning of the Sheep: Haha, yep. The Radeon 6000 series this year, Radeon 7000 series likely next year. nVidia released Fermi earlier this year, and the successor (Kepler) comes at the end of 2011.
