Is life really that bad for you kids? So much gloom and negativity. I’d hate to see what you would be like if you had to live through REALLY bad times. Like the depression, or World War II. Or waiting to see if you would be drafted and sent to Vietnam.

It’s safer to blow through a stop sign? What?

Sorry, no. Running a stopsign at a busy intersection is not safer. Also you don’t see most of the cars doing it. They might just pause, but the vast majority don’t barrel through like cyclists do.

But I see a lot of them run stop signs and red lights on their bicycles, riding during rush hour w/o a bike lane, and etc.

TL;DR

Yeah, the framing of 90's Chrysler is off in this article. Also, that 1994 Ram really transformed the Dodge Ram from a very distant 3rd place to Ford/GM to a true competitor. Chrysler in the 90's was putting out creative products*.

The Prowler was essentially a mass-produced street rod. If you were disappointed by its performance, don’t ever drive a real street rod. The fastest ones perform well only in a straight line, until you need to stop. They are built to cruise and be noticed, which the Prowler did well.

The point I was trying to make, perhaps unsuccessfully, was that those drawbacks would have been considered “quirks” that made it “awesome” if it was a vehicle only available overseas. For instance David Tracy’s recent purchase.

Jalopnik writer when they see a underpowered, weird, limited edition and unreliable car only available overseas:

Technically a direct drive then and no transmission, no? Beats me

He's no Patrick George.

Guys, Chief Justice V10omous has given us his ruling. Case settled now! All you other fools spending years trying to figure this out in courtrooms across the country were just being a bunch of dumbasses.

Impressive! Over an hour before I was referred to as a boot-licker! Usually it only takes about 5 min for one of you commune-dwelling hippies to show up.

When I was a contract engineer, my company set my rate too.

Drivers are contractors because Uber/Lyft is a BROKER. That’s the important part that everyone keeps leaving out.

They are clearly contractors. By established labor law, there is no conceivable way they are employees, which is why California had to pass this special law to begin with.

This is my general PSA whenever a giz media site or someone else uses the $33k stat from The Knot’s wedding survey (a pet peeve of mine). That number is mostly bullshit and here’s why:

LOL, inter-racial lesbians wearing his/hers outfits!

Judge: “Then why did you ask for permission?”

Exactly. Further proof that the Chinese steal every damn thing. Jack Ma became a billionaire as founder of the world’s most prominent ripoff site, Alibaba. The Chinese just do not care about patent, trademark, or trade dress infringement of any kind.
