I bought a brand new Cruze in January. I had been preapproved at a 2.4% interest rate. When it came time to do the paperwork I informed the salesman and finance guy of this. He asked me what my credit score was and I told him it was about 750. He said that 2.4% was terrible for that kind of credit score, so he ran it

As was mentioned a couple of posts up, this has been possible for years. LONG before Lollipop. Lifehacker needs to do some research.

A year ago I bought the cheapest one that Target had. It’s been in the shower since. Still looks new. No rust, no nothing.

I bought some of the just reintroduced Betty Crocker Rainbow Chip frosting last night and was pleasantly surprised to see that it no longer has trans fat. My wife and I put two more in our cart when we saw that.

I’m in that crowd. I don’t think it undercuts it at all. I think it mostly says don’t buy slightly used at Carmax.

Did you see Utah? We’ve had strong preemption laws and public school carry statewide, k-12 and university, since 1999. No state in the nation comes close to Utah’s gun rights. We’re as blue as it gets on this map.

What a foolish comment. What a customer decides something is worth to them, is exactly what it’s worth. They’re the one paying the bill, not you.

I don’t see any problem with seeking a discount on something that you don’t believe is worth the full price.

What a stupid comment. Show me a store where the majority of items aren’t made in China.

There is no point in arguing with him. Every comment he’s made has been addressed multiple times and he acts like he hasn’t even read them.

Your point is silly and holds no water. NOBODY said that if you can’t tow at birth, you never should.

I don’t see your point. The parking lot thing that I’ve mentioned three times would be the training wheels.

You’re taking his second sentence far too literally. Unless you’re being stupidly pedantic, there is nothing inconsistent in his post.

That’s the way to do it.

Yeah I’ve been driving (legally) for ten years, and towing trailers for about 12. I’ve also had access to probably 15 trailers in that time so I certainly haven’t lacked in practice opportunities.

Bingo. Plus, if you’ve never backed a trailer before, go find a big empty parking lot (I’m in Utah, so there are thousands of Mormon churches) and practice for an hour. You’ll learn an uncommon, incredibly handy lifelong skill.

Fuck off buddy. The fact that he isn’t familiar with carbon dating practices says nothing of his intelligence.

Gizmodo does seem that way don’t they... Gave up on them a couple years ago.

I should have been more specific... Do websites make money from ads, if nobody clicks on the ads?
