that’s awesome! the closest my son has gotten to a feature film was when i let him watch the first Pixar “Cars” movie at home (over the course of 2 nights) earlier this year while my wife was away for the weekend (she’s pretty anti-tv, so he’s very limited on screentime in general, which i’m on-board with).

totally

sigh...i really wish my 3-year-old was ready to sit through a feature film. very much looking forward to him (and his younger brother, currently 2 months old) eventually being able to join me for these kinds of movies.

it’s totally fake. Indians don’t get buried, they get cremated. also, Pricilla Kumar from Modesto describes herself on Facebook as an “Entertainment Horror Journalist”:

I’m calling shenanigans on Family Forever. Indians don’t get buried, they get cremated. Also, Pricilla Kumar from Modesto describes herself on Facebook as an “Entertainment Horror Journalist”:

4 weeks?! jesus dude, just go to the fucking show

UMD class of 2000 here. this is horrifying. burn it all to the ground. Loh and Evans need to be fired. Durkin and the other responsible coaching staff should also be fired and brought up on charges.

this might be one of the best Kinja comments ive ever seen

is that a G-Wagen?

this would basically be the Jalop equivalent of Deadspin’s annual “Why Your Team Sucks” NFL team previews. dooooooo itttttt

i looked into the Ascent earlier this year to see if i should hold off on buying a new SUV until it was available. one aspect that was a big turn-off - the highest trim level only has one upholstery option, a dark brown “mocha” type leather. it sets up a weird 2-tone contrast with some of the lighter plastic door trim

i spent a lot of time thinking about Highlander vs. Pilot back in Feb/March of this year. i really wanted to like the Highlander more, but that 3rd row is basically unusable for adults, and storage space is just about nil behind the 3rd row. also wasn’t impressed with the interior when i sat in one at the DC auto show

not a “cabinet position” per se, but this whole fiasco reminded me of W & Harriet Miers more than anything else

quick follow-up just in case you were curious - got a couple of inquiries throughout the week, the first people to actually come over and look at it stopped by this afternoon, took it for a quick test drive and offered $5k cash when they got back. sold! thanks again for the insight.

Thanks CHCDH, that’s really helpful insight. Frankly, I just wasn’t sure if $6K was a “laugh out loud” type price, but it sounds at least plausible from your feedback.

Yup, mechanicals are good. I haven’t kept receipts - but that’s mainly because I’ve never had to do any work on it aside from routine maintenance. The

good call. and, thanks very much!

Hope you all don’t mind if i jump in with an off-topic question, but this conversation touches on a topic for which I could use some expert insight. I’m currently trying to sell my ‘05 Accord Coupe (EX-V6, 89K miles) (kid #2 on the way) and not sure what would be a reasonable asking price. The car is in great shape

I still remember going to the public library while in elementary school (late 80's) and borrowing a Pink Panther VHS, anticipating an entire movie featuring the antics of that animated pink panther that I had seen in all those commercials on TV. man, that was disappointing.

calling Surfside a “restaurant” is probably being a big generous. it’s more of a walk-up counter with a couple of sidewalk tables. If you “insert yourself” into strangers’ political conversations at this place around bartime, then you probably deserve whatever happens to you as a result.

17g sugar = guilt-free? LOL
