true, but i’m not sure you have many cases of quasi-governmental bodies in America dictating gang-rape as an “acceptable” punishment-by-proxy for something that’s not actually a crime in any sane or meaningful sense of the word.

I’ve been a season ticket holder for 23 years and the loudest I’ve ever heard the stadium was in 2007 week 14 when Cleo Lemon hit Greg Camarillo on a 80 yard TD in overtime (Ed Reed was defending) to beat the Ravens.

when i’m done drinking in AdMo, i walk a couple blocks down the street and get a jumbo slice from Duccini’s at 18th/U/Florida (across the street from Tamarindo’s) - it’s not the best pizza you’ll ever have, but definitely better than the “main” jumbo slice places right in the heart of 18th St. Their delivery pizza is

I think that you and I both know the answer is NEVER. Christ, that hurts to admit. The milestones come and go, but then new challenges emerge. The child can walk, but now it’s walking into a river. The child can talk, but now it’s telling you to fuck off. The child can read, but now it’s reading Penthouse Letters. I

i think you got the “dowry” thing backwards - if your family member was the “proxy bride”, her host family would be responsible for paying a dowry to the groom’s family.

damn these activist judges!!!!

well, when you said “lower middle-class section of Baltimore,” Dundalk just sprang to mind - though I did also consider Essex as well :)

hold on a second - your MIL is from Dundalk but gets offended when someone calls her “hon”?!?

oh hey Mr. Pink, thanks for stopping by

haha...lord, i had this car 10 years before anyone even heard of a digital camera - seems unlikely, but if i can dig up any old pics i’ll scan & post ‘em on this thread!

My first car was an ‘88 Subaru GL - 4-door compact sedan with the flat four engine (spare tire was under the hood, sitting on top of the engine!). it was a hand-me-down from my dad a year or two after i got my license (so, mid-90’s-ish).

yes! my wife and i are expecting in ~5 weeks (our first). broadly speaking, i’m super-excited to be a dad and all that entails. along with that, my inner gadget/gear nerd has been in heaven researching and comparing strollers, infant car seats, babycams, etc. etc.

July 12th for us!

wife and i are about 5 weeks from our due date (our first, a boy) - seen a lot of this information elsewhere as well, but it’s helpful to have it compiled in one brief blog post, and the videos are great to have as well - thanks for posting this!

wow - we have come quite a long way from the Leisure Suit Larry games of my youth, haven’t we?!

thank you - i was totally and utterly bewildered by the original sentence.

i loved the first two GofT story arcs, but stopped picking up the series after Godbomb concluded. this article is making me regret that decision immensely. time to stock up on some TPBs!

Wondering if the autonomous truck w/ “supervisor” has to adhere to the same downtime regulations that big rigs have to follow now? i.e., can the truck keep driving through the night even if the guy inside ducks in back to get some shuteye?

hey now - not just on seafood. Old Bay is fantastic on pretty much *everything*. i use it to season pork and chicken. and french fries...old bay french fries are the best. hell, Flying Dog makes an Old Bay Summer Ale that’s pretty damn good.

I didn’t realize some stores set that condition. My neighborhood shop lets you take as many as you want (though no more than one of each, of course), no purchase required - though I always end up picking up a TPB or two while I’m there. Big ups to Big Planet Comics on U St in DC!
