That is not true at all. Many companies that treat their vendors like garbage treat their customers wonderfully. But if treating vendors poorly is your measure of fitness then you should absolutely be on board with Epic as they are only taking a 12% cut from vendors versus the 30% cut Steam takes.
What is the possible downside to us, the consumer, in this case? Even if they didn’t reach out to the companies and let them know that they were going to give their customers a discount out of their own pocket, how is that a danger to us? Where is this “peril” you are talking about?
