Sure, but is this guy a far-right or far-left person? I think that kind of thing needs to be determined so his comments can be taken in context BEFORE he resigns his position and sells of his stake in a company he helped build.

I also work at a public company (heck I am an managing accountant at one). The problem is that the boards are made up of other executives. It has also become painfully clear that we cannot depend of shareholders to make rational decisions when it comes to executive pay. Something has to change. Look at the countries…

I cannot speak directly to executives at Activision but generally high-level executive pay is about 1/3 cash, 1/3 stock, and 1/3 stock options. Actually, the compensation numbers above are from 2017. I was simply pointing out that the compensation of these executives is ridiculous. Even if they were not compensated more in 2018 than 2017, the equivalent of 5% of the net income of a company this large going to seven people does not make sense.

Activision’s net income for 2017 was $273 million. The pay of the executives above (not including the chairman of the board) was $81.2 million, nearly a third of the company’s profits. One third of company profits went to paying seven people. That is absurd.

US executives are wildly overpaid. Educate yourself on the topic.
