Well, now that they've got thousands sitting unsold on dealers' lots, and have had to stop production as a result of supply outstripping demand (how ironic is it that GM can't sell the Volt, even in the face of $4/gal gas, I ask you?); what else is there to do but turn to "shock hawkers"? Hey, hiring 'shock jocks'

Okay, so semi-serious question: Whose insurance pays for what?

Now THAT was damn funny!

Well, that too- yeah. I was actually looking for the 'Pins and needles' scene from PCU, but it does not appear that anyone has ever uploaded it to YouTube. So just imagine that scene here.

I saw the headline and just knew I'd see it!

Okay, two hours down, two hours up, right? Six hours of time on the bottom equals ten hours, right?

I don't know many brand new $20,000 cars that are worth having. Sure, it used to be a lot of money to spend on a car; now... not so much.

So Apple comes to a fork in the road... I'm glad to see they're taking the high road, remembering that it's a two-way street; many people will still use both Apple and Google, so there's no need for them to sever ties, only to look back in a couple of years and wonder about the road not taken.

"But to be tech savvy enough to even know how to operate Twitter and not know about the new iPad... that is crazy to me."

These tweets say so much about society these days. Really, how is it Apple's and/or Steve Jobs' fault (yes, one user- @thisisjbs- actually blamed Steve Jobs, who died 6+ months ago) that you are on Twitter, and therefore obviously online, and yet miss three months of rumors that have turned into a pretty much

In Phoenix, both the iPad and iPhone are showing 3G after the update.

In looking at the original thread, my one nomination was all it took to get theis as the #COTD?

Yeah, Gawker has been making the claim that Tim Cook is gay (through misleading headlines and "two well-placed sources"), for years. The man himself is mum on the topic, and rightfully so. And most of the other stuff I see usually links back to Gawker or Valleywag, and their "two well-placed sources".

No, Gawker has been making the claim that Tim Cook is gay (through misleading headlines and "two well-placed sources"), for years. The man himself is mum on the topic, and rightfully so.

I was more referring to previous posts on other Gawker media outlets; Gawker has been claiming that Tim is gay due to "two well-placed sources" for a couple of years, while neither Tim nor Apple has said anyting about it, officially or otherwise.

A) I think you're reading too much into it. This whole presentation was about the great new display, so why not throw a little color on the logo. I don't think they'll be changing it on any hardware, or the stickers they still include in the boxes.

Well, that's Gawker for you. Outing people for pageviews.

Well, it could be appropriate.
