What's the brand, man?

I tried this moving my iTunes library to my QNAP NAS. Major fail. QNAP kept corrupting the music files and at least 50% of the time iTunes couldn't find and wouldn't play songs. Finally moved my library to my external Thunderbolt drive, where iTunes now happily finds and plays all my music with no problems.

Here's another gaffe that I found Guy committed in this article. Using "as ... as" in a negative comparison. (See second sentence under Passive Voice.) "As ... as" is only correct in positive comparisons. Here, the sentence should read: "New York publishers are being attacked by self-publishers" is not so powerful as

I won't buy one book or see one movie from Meyer. She's a devout Mormon and 10% of all her proceeds goes to her hater religion to support intolerance, misogyny and prejudice. No putative entertainment value justifies to my mind helping them carry out their misguided mission in any way.

Preview works perfectly in OS X in connection with a scanner. It's free and it automatically creates searchable text PDF's. Oh, Preview, is there anything you can't do?

The only time this might be useful would be for Passover!

Why doesn't ML allow one to go back and forth in the Finder between parent and child folders by using a swip gesture on the trackpad? It would be so consistent with other uses elsewhere (e.g., Safari). I so dislike having to go click on the back/forward buttons.
