Two comments I want to make after having to deal with obituaries after my mom's death back in August:

1) There a CRAP TON of costs when someone dies. I don't know how anyone can get away with less that a few thousand dollars for the death of a loved one. Not including whatever health issues leading up to the death.

*wraps own knuckles* nah. no. make better choices, asshole commenter.

Tyreke Evans is a fucking idiot.

Keep your chin up, man. That almost landed.

According to Olbermann tonight, the Olympic bid in Boston had ZERO input from the city government or the state government. The bid was entirely put together and submitted by a consortium of the 12 largest construction contractors in New England and guess who gets all of the contracts when it comes time to start

They say the Boston bid will be entirely privately funded, but I'll believe that Bob Kraft isn't going to weasel his way into one or two new publically funded stadiums only once the bid is formally in and decided on.

$43 Billion over budget, nothing done nearly on time, corrupt politicians, endless graft everywhere you look. I like Boston's chances in 2022, after the Big Dig they have shown they've got what it takes.

That's mildly disturbing at first glance.

From my experience, yips are rooted in mechanical flaws. The athlete then tries to counter those flaws which creates new flaws. And after a few awful shots, their brain goes haywire. And usually it is more than just 1 mechanical flaw.

Let's say you have a 2nd basemen who can't throw to first anymore (i.e. Chuck

I blame the caddy. He obviously didn't give Tiger the yardage.

I honestly don't know how Boehim can recruit going forward. He used to be able to say if you come to Syracuse, you'll get to play in NCAA tourneys and do Fine. What can he say now?

I hate to be this guy (I really do, I really, really do), but Jezebel (of all fucking places) ran virtually the same piece as aplus.com.

Right, I just made up the concept of "physical attraction". Its not been a driving force in human nature for thousands of years or anything.

SI Executive 1: Whoa, that's one fat check!

Man what the fuck is wrong with people? The SI Swimsuit Edition isn't about normal sized people or normal anything. It's specifically about featuring exceptionally good-looking and athletic swimsuit models.

Oprah-ism #5,287: "ALL bodies are beautiful"

Holy shit it finally happened. Jimmy was trying to get these guys together since 2009.

The fact Elizabeth Berkley looks EXACTLY the same as she did 22 years ago in that outfit is stunning.

This place is a Google Maps wet dream of interesting stuff.
