Granted, things like that will happen, but my experience with the Chinatown buses has been comparably worse. My ex girlfriend had one of their buses breakdown on the Brooklyn/Queens Expressway in Brooklyn, NY. She had to hail a cab from the side of the highway to get to my place. I have also had the Chinatown buses

My 2001 Nissan Sentra has a 4 speed automatic and it is by far the worse thing about the car. I can't understand how that is still offered these days as an option. Plus I have already ranted about the drum brakes in the rear.

So why are drum brakes still the norm on popular model cars? I have been doing car shopping with my brother and have noticed that all of the high selling cars use drum brakes in the rear (Civic, Fit, etc.). Yet, if you look at Hyundai or Mazda their models have four wheel disc brakes and generally come in cheaper. Am

I wish I reported both of those companies when I had the chance. I had used Fung Wah and Lucky Star a few years ago and I am so glad that they have shut them down. At no point did it ever seem that the operator was even trained to be driving a bus. Additionally, they seemed to lack basic safety while operating them.

It's funny to how similar the convertible looks to my 1968 Mercury Monterey. I mean, it's the same platform and all, but the Lincoln gets all of the love and the Monterey is not even known by many.

Is that still a thing people say? I do find it funny how people still misunderstand what it means. I have had friends think it means that a person is as white as a cracker for years. Oh stereotypes and racism...

Hmm, I'll keep it short.

Yeah, the Bosch platinums (I bought them so I wouldn't have to gap them) I installed at around 70,000 miles or so. Currently I am close to 135,000. The thing is, the plugs look pretty good and the car runs fine. The idle is a little off, and the "service engine soon" light is on, but a faulty PCV valve could cause

Thanks and great points. The mechanic is close friends with one of my parent's close friends so by association he treats me right and doesn't charge me for the diagnostics. I did not know that Autozone or Advance Auto Parts would do that for free though. So I will consider that in the future since they were quick to

I have only replaced my spark plugs once. Likely back in 2005 (The car is 2001). They were Bosch platinums and I checked over this past summer and they still appear to be in good condition, with little wear on them. Do you think they are still good to go? I have a "service engine soon" light and I already replaced my

Keep cool and fight the power. Depending on the situation at the courthouse they may just dismiss the case. It's not like you chose to pass on the right, you ultimately had no choice to since the vehicle and the officer were cruising on the left lane below the posted speed limit. Based on your story it seems pretty

I think you actually answered why it isn't on the list. I have used the Nook too and unfortunately, everything about it felt clunky.

I thought it was named Geoff.

And they are generally right to swear by it. I work in a "creative" background too and swear by Macs as well. The strange thing is that a comparison in specs to a pc is generally not going to work out well since, for some reason it's like comparing apples to oranges (pun not intended). It just seems that a lot of the

Rumor is that it is coming this Spring. I hope to God it's soon, because a refresh is needed.

"Great for photo/video editing?" It depends really. Are you a novice who would do any of that for fun and casual use? Then it would be a great system. If your doing it professionally I wouldn't necessarily recommend it. These things are not graphics workstation powerhouses. That would be the Mac Pro which is in

I have to agree with the consensus here. You seem to be the bane of those people's existence. You have to figure that a majority of the people they deal with are completely lost with their own technology and how to fix it. The thing is they can't staff their places with only Apple fanatics (though they probably are).

I was just about to say the same thing.

This guy has a great sense of humor and really highlights the futility of trying to explain colors in terms of words. Unfortunately, like sound, it's just one of those senses that need to be experienced by the individual to be fully understood. I love the comment about orange though.

Well said! Someone here finally gets it!
