@djdare: Funny, because conservatives and libertarians are found to enjoy simple economic concepts and their relation to surveys more than their liberal counterparts. But they all love their chocolate equally!

@minibeardeath: Are you saying that my hand washing skills are lacking? If you use it everyday and wash it everyday, then how is it not clean? Besides, we aren't going for medical grade clean, that causes a whole bunch of other issues. A small amount of germs won't kill any normal person. As for your point on…
And here I thought GPS units were on the way out with the emergence of voice directions and on screen navigation with smart phones. The one nice feature about GPS units is the handy mounting device. But for $300 I think I can live with using my HTC Incredible as my navigation device.
@SanSerif: The only thing that commercial made me think of was that muscle cars are awesome and George Washington is a badass.
@ranwhenparked: Way to take the fun out of the car and the commercial...
@*Grey*Bastard 420: Thank you for adhering to the stereotype of Vegans. I slow clap for thee.
@technomom1: True, it probably was a squirrel. A communist squirrel!
I laugh every time I see someone write how Verizon is better than AT&T. I have been a customer of both (currently Verizon) and I can say that AT&T has always been better for me. The only thing that I can't compare is smart phone coverage between the two. With my switch I got the HTC Incredible. Verizon call…
@kozi: Clearly you haven't been to Brooklyn. It's all the rage.
Drunk driving via internet? Yes...
"With the Levytator, it's no longer just up and down." You are right, now it's just up and "around".
@skierpage: I found the article that you were referring to and the information was more up to date than the last time I read on the subject. Pretty neat read. It also discussed the newer batteries currently being used rather than the lead-acid ones I was thinking of when I wrote my original post. It seems that the…
It's like a Gobstopper or Jawbreaker in table form! Can I lick it?
It has been proven that the manufacturing of hybrid vehicles does more environmental damage than manufacturing any other passenger vehicle. The reason is due to the means of battery production through mining for the raw materials. So if it's not helping the environment and it's not more economical than say a diesel,…
@MaWeiTao: It's the smaller goals that make the bigger goals achievable.
Cool project, terrible video. In fact, it looks much better in pictures than it does waddling in a straight line. Actually, I hate it now that I saw it move. Still, I give the guy credit for creating a fun project. The Alien Queen statue is even more impressive.
@sammy baby: Unfortunately you are right. It's a great idea, but I can't see anything like this working on existing roads today. This could be good promise for mass transit projects though.
@Stradigos: Actually, at the end of the video is where the whole point of that thing really shines. It has a remote control feature and can pull loads like equipment and injured soldiers out on a wheeled stretcher. The unit itself has a dual function by allowing someone to ride and steer it or operate it remotely. …
@Charliehorse: And that's a bad thing? Don't be afraid, embrace it!
@Terry: Well done sir! That just made my day.
