E-golf sounds straight up your alley. Some can be found off lease for right around 20k. I realize it’s not an AMAZING deal, but considering they were 36-40 less than a year ago... not terrible.

There’s already HD EV vehicles working in factories across the country. Unmanned. It wouldn’t be a stretch to take the same tech and put a human behind it.
HOW DARE YOU SPEAK ILL OF THIS MAN.

In the UK? get out of here
I was pretty upset with the Volt when it finally came out. They hyped that thing up like nothing else, and then we got a normal hybrid.
The ol’ 260 tread wear “performance” tire. Might as well be an all season on a race track. Rock on you silly goose.
They certainly look cool, but I’d hazard the guess that any set of RS3's or Star Specs will crush them on the track and on the street. They may not look as nifty, but who tf cares what a tire looks like?…
Does he not know that he can take the spare tire threaded plastic thing out/ Just push down and turn and it’l come out. It won’t be super annoying bouncing back and forth while driving it anymore.
It’s a little hyperbole, but: http://paperity.org/p/77506343/real-world-emissions-from-modern-heavy-duty-diesel-natural-gas-and-hybrid-diesel-trucks
Has a table with g/mi for NOx.
TDI’s were found to be right over 1 g/mi, which is a whole order of magnitude less than a 07 model diesel tractor trailer.
And that’s a…
And all seasons on unnecessarily large wheels do?
How much do those tires+wheels weigh in at?
Who are you racing with?
Doing a photo shoot at a race track is not the same as racing a car. And having 11'’ wide wheels does not a race car make.
Now that $1500 miata with a roll bar and rcomps that time trials every month. That’s a track car.
The rev limiter doesn’t stop at 5500 in reverse. I know that much. But if it kicks on at all, I don’t have the want to find out.
But unregulated trucks... I mean come on, a on road tractor puts out more NOx in a few minutes than one of these cars will in its entire life.
I love my TDI and don’t plan on selling it back because I think there’s probably more money in getting the fix (that’s likely to never exist or be okay’d by the EPA). I’ve already made $1000 from the car last year, and now I get even more because I bought a car? Why would I be mad?
“Completely screwed over”
I’m gonna need you to explain that one to me please.
I mean, he doesn’t even have bixenons, who cares?
In all fairness, this car is touted in the article as being a race car. Clearly, it is a show car.
I don’t call my 01 Insight a space ship just because it looks like one.

I just looked up a Hyundai Sonata’s maintenance schedule, and wow. Not once in 150k miles of services does it call for replacing brake fluid, timing belts (but with chains now a days...), transmission fluid, fuel filters.
And Buick replaces the engine air filter every 45k? That’s lunacy. But they at least have a…
Are they really though? Everything gets full synthetic these days, and how much you spend on your oil is really up to you. Filters are cheap too, especially on the VW’s since they just use a filter element inside of their own filter caps/covers.
a 2.0L gas modern VW shouldn’t cost any more than a 2.0L gas modern…
